    Infinilux
    INFINILUX SOLID-STATE LOW BAY LIGHT FOR FAYETTEVILLE Fayetteville, AR, has selected the new Infinilux Inc. light-emitting-diode (LED) solid-state low bay light for the city’s first all SSL project. The installation of the LB36 was selected to help it meet energy conservation goals and lower the environmental impact of the Town Center parking program. The installation will provide a 65% reduction in overall power consumption. The Town Center Parking Deck had 138 metal halide fixtures and 52 T8 florescent fixtures, all burning 24/7. None was equipped with daylight sensors or occupancy sensors. The total energy consumption for the parking deck was more than 30 kilowatts.

    BUILT-IN HARDENED STEEL PINS MAKE LOCK AMERICAS VIRTUALLY DRILL-PROOF Lock America has launched two new drill resistant options for vending machines and bill changers: A High-Security Flange with 10 hardened steel pins has been designed for use in machines that have a recessed T-handle cradle. It has been successfully field-tested by an international beverage bottling company. A Surface-Mounted High-Security T-Handle with eight hardened steel pins has been successfully field-tested by a large national water vending company. The flange can be purchased separately for installation into an existing cradle.

This is a mandatory conformity mark on products in the European Economic Area. It certifies that a product meets European Union consumer safety, health and environmental requirements. As many of the European standards are converging with international standard, the CE Marking will often be required on products sold outside Europe, notably countries that have strong ties to Europe, such as Singapore, Hong Kong and India.
